The Guestbook Emoticon CollectionMore emoticons can be found at http:bestsmileys.com. To use those ones on the Guestbook, you need to change the code as follows: The code will be in this format: Here's Kerry's explanation of how to use those on the Guestbook: Here is what the line of code should look like to post the icon below, which I think of as "Tommy in his Pee Jacket Navigating the Smilies Home" Just type this code into the Message Box where we post <img src="http://bestsmileys.com/water/4.gif"/> I use Preview Entry on the Post Message page to see if the line works or not. I've learned the hard way that missing spaces are problems in some spots such as between filename. gif" Same with double quotes. You can go back and forth from preview to find your unintentionally missing or added bits. Also, text will flow endlessly (like my posts LOL) unless you enter <p> where you want a break in the narrative. PS don't copy the examples above for purposes of pasting because I had to put special code in them to stop it from executing, otherwise you wouldn't see the full example of the line. The first time you'll have to key it in yourself. After that you can copy and paste, to merely replace the file name, in this case http://bestsmileys.com/water/4.gif"/ Best of Luck! |
